WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

I've been fascinated by wireless for as long as I can remember, and a licensed Radio Amateur since 1970. This site started off as a scrapbook of my station history, but other topics have started to creep in.

The first addition being information on the Compaq 171fs and 151fs VDUs that took me a while to find, and which doesn't even appear on the Compaq website.

They say there's one book in everyone. Unfortunately they don't say whether it will be any good. Download mine and judge for yourself.

Most recently I've added a section about our family's claim to fame, and it concerns the design of the humble paint tin.

I tried to resist a long list of other websites, but the best of those which I have found especially interesting, funny, useful, or just plain weird made the final cut.
